Biography
I enjoy an active lifestyle outside of work. During my time at Virginia Tech, I was actively involved as a player and president of the women’s rugby team as well as a player on the U-23 All-Star team. Volunteerism and travel are a big part of my life. I’ve volunteered at the Tekoa School, an alternative school for juvenile delinquents. I also participated in an outreach program designed to teach people about law, democracy and human rights. I gave my time to first work as a teacher for the Street Law program and then later served as an administrative coordinator. Mixing my curiosity about different cultures and history, I studied around the world with semesters abroad in London, England, Florence, Italy, and Prague.
