Hopped up Dentist v. Patient with Heart Condition
Aug 01, 2019OUTCOME: Settled with zero liability
The patient had a pre-existing medical condition that made certain dental drugs very dangerous to her health. She told the dentist this in her written consent forms, but during treatment, he injected ... her with these drugs without her consent, causing her serious, potentially life-threatening complications. She, rightfully, refused further treatment, under significant, aggressive pressure, and the dentist sued for an unconscionable amount for the services he never completed. After stern negotiation, the dentist dropped all claims. The patient/client is doing fantastically, and is relocating to one of the most beautiful places in the state.
