Biography
Before entering the practice of law, James Astuno was an officer in the United States Marine Corps, undertaking deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. That period of service provided extensive leadership training, mission-focused execution, and cross-cultural operational exposure. He currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserve and continues to fulfill reserve responsibilities. Outside uniformed service, James contributes to civilian community welfare by serving on the board of YMCA Community Support Services, where he participates in program oversight and resource stewardship.
