also known as The Law Office of Christina Giorgio, PC
For over two decades, Christina Giorgio has been fighting and winning for her clients in New York, California and Illinois. With a passion for social and economic justice, she focuses her practice on representing victims of employment discrimination, sexual harassment, and wage theft. Christina has extensive experience litigating employment discrimination and sexual harassment cases against private employers and the municipalities, obtaining some of the largest sexual harassment settlements paid out by the City of New York. Christina currently is practicing exclusively in California.
Prior to opening her own office, Christina was a staff attorney with New York Lawyers for the Public Interest and Public Counsel in Los Angeles where she represented clients in complex civil rights and land use matters. She won landmark litigation, including securing the rights of more than one million New York City public school students to be free from toxic light fixtures in over 2000 public schools. She has been at the forefront of challenging cities’ illegal and inhumane treatment of their residents experiencing homelessness through section 1983 litigation. Christina started her legal career as a union-side labor lawyer in Chicago and has remained committed to fighting for workers’ rights to be free from workplace discrimination and unlawful wage and hour practices.
Christina was raised in California and lives and works in San Diego. She received her B.A. from University of California at Berkeley and her J.D. from Loyola University School of Law, Chicago. Christina is a member of the California, Illinois and New York bars and is licensed to practice in their state and federal courts. When not representing clients or advocating for social justice, you will find Christina hiking the peaks of Yosemite, surfing in La Jolla and sailing a sunfish in Mission Bay.
