Through no fault of myself or Lennie Gee, or her office staff, I had a very lengthy divorce. Through it all Lennie Gee was pro-active, knowledgeable, persistent, responsive and supportive. While we both wished we could have reached settlement sooner, it was beyond our control. When we finally did... reach settlement, I came out much better off than I ever thought possible going in. All I wanted was what was equitable and fair under CA law. Lennie Gee and her staff worked hard to make that happen. I would not hesitate to work with Lennie Gee again should the need arise.

I work in the legal field myself and was referred to Ms Gee to represent me in what should have been an easy divorce. $30,000 and 18 months later, I found myself still not divorced and given WRONG advice concerning property. My ex husband was dragging his feet with the divorce because property valu...es were continuing to go up while I alone was paying the mortgage on our home every month. Ms Gee's office was unresponsive, overbilled , and charged my credit card for a bill they knew I disputed when I was out of the country. I terminated Ms Gee's services and represented myself and was MUCH better off. I contemplated filing a formal complaint with the State Bar Assoc. but their office does not put anything in writing so the burden of proof of the bad legal advice is tough. AVOID THIS OFFICE at all costs. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Also, Ms. Gee always appeared to be overly friendly with my ex husbands attorney, and whenever I questioned her about that, she indicated that was for my benefit. Trust your gut... IT IS NOT! This is a fee -churning office that does not have a clients best interests in mind.
