David Stewart

David S. Stewart is a Partner at T-Rex Law, P.C.

While involved in the other Intellectual Property services of the firm, David is also a registered patent practitioner, licensed to prosecute patents before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

David originally started with T-Rex Law as a law clerk while attending the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school, David was a two-time recipient of the CALI award for scoring the highest grades of his class in both Trademark Law and Patent Law. David was also a member of USD’s National Team for Moot Court, where he won best oral argument at the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Regional Tournament in Los Angeles.

Prior to working at T-Rex law, David interned at the San Diego Office of the Public Defender, honing his advocacy skills and gaining valuable litigation experience. David received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University, and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, concentrating in intellectual property and civil litigation.

A Southern California native, outside of the office David enjoys surfing and spending time with his wife and daughter.
