Client was a lawful permanent resident in removal proceedings. He was not eligible for relief (cancellation of removal). After reviewing the facts and circumstances in his case, I was able to work with ... a public defender to make it so that he was eligible for cancellation of removal. I fully prepared and documented his case and then argued it in the Federal Immigration Court. After over 100 hours of preparation and working on the case, my client was granted the relief and is now able to lawfully remain in the United States.
