Mark helped my husband and I after we were injured in an auto accident. The at fault party's insurance company was reluctant to return us to whole because we didn't take time off from work or seek continued medical care. Mr Caruana was very respectful and understanding when it came to my personal and emotional feelings after witnessing the traumatic car accident I was involved with. I hired Mark when I was hit by a driver who ran a red light fleeing from a crime he just committed. Thankfully I had good medical insurance because it turned out the other driver was uninsured. I consulted several lawyers since I had half a million in medical bills, a totaled car, and both my health ...insurance and car insurance calling me daily. I was advised by a friend not to speak to anyone regarding my accident until I had representation. I consulted with the billboard types all the way to the mom and pop and I could not have picked a better attorney than Mark! He was an absolute hardcore advocate for me and my family. He got everyone off my back, got me several thousand dollars more for my totaled car than the initial settlement offer, got me the maximum payout on my uninsured driver policy and got my health insurance to agree not to go after my settlement to seek reimbursement for my medical bills. He offered to sue the person who hit me in civil court but the guy had a mile long arrest record and wasn’t worth my time or Mark’s effort. Over a year later my health insurance sent me a letter saying they were going to seek payment for what Mark had already settled. Panicked, I called Mark and it took one phone call from him while I was in his office to get the matter closed. I overheard his conversation with the representative and I was speechless that he would fight so hard and genuinely cared that I was never contacted about the matter again. He didn’t have to make that call, my case was settled, he was paid but he met with me and handled my problem. The payment? He asked me to get his paralegal a Starbucks sometime… If I ever need an attorney in the future I will see Mark first!
