When I was a senior in high school I took a Sociology and Law elective and knew I wanted to go to law school. I worked hard in college, finished in 3 years, and immediately went to law school. I had the advantage of knowing I wanted to practice Family Law when I started law school, so I was able to choose electives and internships in the Family Law field. I worked with Family Law attorneys and clients, allowing me to graduate with practical experience in the area, instead of just knowledge from a book.

I was only 24 when I graduated law school and continued to work hard. At first, clients were hestiant to trust me because I was so young, but they quickly found that I have the experience and background they need to be adequately represented. At 28, I decided to start my own firm. My dedication and drive to work hard and succeed personally translates into success for my clients.

In my free time, I enjoy working out, eating my husband's home cooking, pretending I am talented enough to do DIY projects, and spending time with my family (including the fur children). My husband and I like to travel as often as we can, since nothing gives you perspective like traveling somewhere unknown and exepriencing it from the local's perspective.
