Today my life has been forever changed. I am a very proud father of a beautiful 3.5 year little girl. I have been in an extremely high conflict custody case for 3.5 years until today. My new reality still has not set in. I feel so unbelievably compelled to write this review because it was quite a jou...rney. Before contacting Amy Lass, I had contacted and interviewed over 75 attorneys all over southern CA. Let me tell you, it was an absolute nightmare. The worst part is they all wanted a $50,000 retainer and said there was very little hope to win my case. Because of this, I was self-represented for the majority of my case. I was up against a “mother favored” system, crooked attorneys and professionals that seem only to be in their positions because they were forced… so it seemed to me. Family law is the most difficult area of law because cl...ients (including myself) are generally so emotionally charged about the facts of the case and making a point to the opposing party that they generally lose sight of the fact that the Court will render its decision based on the "best interest of the child" standard.
