I would recommend an estate planning specialist. There are numerous issues and "land mines" that a family law specialist may not be familiar with.
Can a living trust in California have co-trustees with equal oversight? Also, must Living Wills be updated periodically?

No right or wrong answer on this one. My opinion is that the Court would not appoint you executor if the estate is under $150,000.
