After serving my country in the United States Marine Corps, I dedicated 24 years to protecting communities as a police officer, ultimately serving as the Chief of Police in Ketchikan, Alaska. I know how investigations are conducted, how evidence is gathered, and how law enforcement builds their cases—because I did it myself for over two decades.

But my journey didn't stop there. As a Deputy District Attorney in Orange County, I prosecuted criminal cases and learned exactly how the other side thinks, strategizes, and prepares for trial. I understand the prosecutor's playbook because I helped write it.
