I have been extremely pleased with his attention to detail, super quick response time, knowledge of my personal case & family law. He was always accessible & I consider him a wonder...ful asset. I don't know how I would have gotten through my multi-year divorce without his guidance & strategy. Mr. Castellanos was always prompt with my filings & kept me informed of what the next step was. He was firm with opposing counsel & was able to keep things on track despite the other sides non-stop games. His rates / billing are transparent & fair. He is not about just running up billable hours - because he is a man with great integrity. When I first filed, an advisor I trust told me the most important thing is to find an attorney I trust bc sometimes they will have to tell me things I don't like & if I trust them I can just take it for what it is & move forward. However if there isn't a level of trust I may second guess and put myself in legal jeopardy. I chose Gabriel Castellanos because I trust him with my life & he over delivered above my expectations. His staff is also super available, very knowledgeable & pleasant - which is important when going through such a difficult experience.

I hired Mr. Castellanos as I was considering contesting a recent court Family Law court order. After research, I was convinced a motion to set side was best. However, after a consultation with Mr. Castellanos, he insisted a motion for reconsideration was best and pressured me into hiring him on the s...pot since I had 2 days left to file this motion. After pressuring me into paying him a $9,000 flat "non-refundable" fee upfront, he called me and said he will not do the motion for reconsideration, and that motion to set aside was best (as I said all along). After I hired him, he dropped the ball on important deadlines and was oblivious to the matters of my case to the point I had to fire him and hire a new attorney within a few weeks! Other than a few small e-mail exchanges, a two page draft of the motion he began working on, and reviewing a few documents, Mr. Castellanos did nothing else on my case during these few weeks until I fired him. Yet he refused to refund any portion of the $9,000 I paid him.

Hiring Gabriel Castellanos was a BIG Mistake, I hired him to help me with a child custody matter, he made promise after promise and he NEVER delivered. I lost ground because of Gabriel Castellanos. I can honestly say that Gabriel Castellanos is NOT a good Lawyer, and he is NOT Honest. What ever you ...do, DO NOT HIRE Gabriel Castellanos You Will Regret It If You Do. After I fired him he charged me a fee just to return my case file WOW.. When we went to court it NEVER went the way he said it would go. I WOULD GO AS FAR TO CALL Gabriel Castellanos A LAIR. He told me one thing but when we got in front of the Judge what he told me was NOT what was told to the Judge. He never prepare his on written brief, the few times he actually filed documents with the Court, several words in the documents that he filed were misspelled.
