They did get this sorted out, the divorce nightmares continues, no tact from them.

I have been having a terrible experience with Mr. Muir. Very little meaningful progress has happened in my case in over 2 years. I send calls to their office -- they do not get returned. I email their office -- I get no reply. I can say that of the last 5 times I called for my case, I got 0 (no) re...sponses. (If there is some reason why they are not replying, they are failing to communicate.) By failing to deliver this important services, they are causing grave to people. I recommend that they stop practicing law and give up their practice to another firm that has the capacity to handle their caseload.

As unprofessional as you can get

I never dealt with Muir personally, don’t think that’s a common thing. The office staff, Crystal and Vanessa are rude, condescending, unprofessional and don’t do their job! You pay your 3-4K fee up front and after they receive payment don’t you dare ask a single question. It’s none of your business ...and you will be told as much in a demeaning, snarky way. At some point these witches will have to be held accountable, if you research reviews it’s a commonality that they are horrible to work with. Beware and go elsewhere you’ve been warned!

Richard Muir & his staff did a wonderful job for me. They are the best!

Rick Muir and his office staff did a first rate job of representing me, protecting MY interests in the court ordered division of community property. Choosing his firm was no accident – everything I read and what I heard from other attorneys who recommended him; he is the “go-to” attorney for drafting... QDROs in the Inland Empire area. As I experienced throughout the process, his staff did a wonderful job of keeping us informed and the process moving. Katie was my contact and she was always proactive; reminding us about paperwork, signatures, answering my questions, and dealing with my ex-wife in a professional, but no-nonsense way. Our settlement agreement wasn’t particularly complicated. However, I knew that my ex-wife was going to be a pain to deal with during the process, delaying tactics, not communicating, etc. It didn’t take long for that to begin. Anticipating this, and then hearing Mr. Muir’s simple solution to the problem convinced me I made a great decision to choose his firm to prepare the QDRO’s. After a few weeks of patience and Katie contacting my ex-wife several times by phone, email & snail mail about not paying of her share of the fees, the delays, etc. I acted on Mr. Muir’s solution. I promptly paid her share of the legal fees and retained him as my attorney solely. Ex-wife was now on her own. This action proved invaluable to me because they could apply the legal pressure to “motivate” ex-wife to act promptly or her delays were going to cost her more money. From the start to the final division of the accounts took about 6 months; probably 1/3 of that was processing through the courts, the third party administrators, the plans, curing, and vendors. Everyone at Rick Muir’s office, and Katie in particular was professional to work with, kept the process moving along with accurate documents, always being as close as a phone call or email, and doing a great job representing me. I wanted to share this with other people who are researching and making tough decisions while navigating their own divorce storm. At no time did I ever feel neglected or “lost in the shuffle” or second guess my decision to choose Rick Muir to protect my interests. They did a great job, I’ll recommend them anytime.
