If you need someone that is going to fight for you, Elizabeth is your person! She is absolutely amazing. I came into court with no experience, alone, and stressed. I was currently pregnant, working, and in college and I felt I would have to give into my ex’s requests. After much thought, I decided to... talk to Elizabeth regarding my restraining order and child custody situation with my daughter’s father. She was extremely busy at the time, but SHE STILL TOOK ON MY CASE (mind you she changed her plans just to help me with my situation). She fought hard for me and my daughter and helped me gain back a part of my life that I felt was taken away from me. I hired Mrs. Briceno-Velasco for my Mother to handle a motion to terminate spousal support. She was extremely knowledgeable and forthcoming from the initial consultation, she explained that it wasn't an easy motion to oppose and that the likelihood of getting it reduced was high but that she would wo...rk hard to prove all elements of the supporting family code, and that she did. Through the entire process, she was very communicative, professional and compassionate with my Mother. In the end, she was right, this was not an easy motion to oppose but due to her knowledge, being well prepared and patience, my Mother prevailed on an issue that seemed close to impossible to prevail on. The opposing attorney and Judge didn't make things easy either, yet, she stood her ground. Mrs. Briceno-Velasco was strong while maintaining civility at all times which is important in an area of law that can tend to be a little cut throat. My Mom and I are truly thankful for her representation. Mrs. Briceno-Velasco treated my Mom and I with kindness at a time when we needed it most and we never felt like "just another client." I highly recommend her and while I pray we won't need her services in the future, it would be a true pleasure to work with her again.
