I hired Mrs. Briceno to represent us in a domestic violence case. My initial goal was to get protection for my sister and her children, without any knowledge of any court process whatsoever. She was extremely professional since day one, resourceful, focused, very involved in the case and not to ment...ion kind to my sister whom was in a very distressed state. I have to say I was impressed by her strong performance in the courtroom, not only did she get a prolonged protection order for my family but custody of the children as well. Mrs. Briceno-Velasco is the best! I've dealt with a number of attorneys over the years but none like her. She was always responsive, kept me in the loop, and constantly looked out for my interests. Furthermore, she knew my financial situation and was fair and specific in her billings...I never fel...t like she milked the time spent just to get paid. Most of all her directness was much needed especially when it's hard to be objective about one's situation.
