Thien Nguyen

Ms. Nguyen brings with her invaluable experience as an attorney at some of the most prominent defense firms in Southern California.

Ms. Nguyen has fearlessly litigated hundreds of cases from inception to successful resolution at mediation, arbitration, and trial. Due to her experience as a former defense attorney, she knows the systems, strategies, and techniques that can overcome the defense case and utilizes this to maximize her client’s recoveries. Her practice areas include estate planning, civil litigation, and personal injury. She is a fierce champion of justice for victims who have suffered from serious injuries caused by the negligence of others. In addition, her compassionate nature allows her to go the extra mile to be accessible and available to her clients, some of whom have become lifelong friends. As a result of her love of helping people and their families, her practice has extended to include estate planning, which she enjoys immensely due to the personal nature of helping people secure their legacies.

Ms. Nguyen is a proud first-generation American. She was born in Minnesota from immigrant parents that escaped from Vietnam following the Vietnam war. In 1987 she moved with her family to Southern California. She worked in her family’s flower store for 15 years prior to becoming an attorney. She attended California State University, San Bernardino, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2003. She then attended and later graduated with Honors from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California in 2006. Following graduation from law school, she was a law clerk for the Honorable Judge John Nho Trong Nguyen (no relation) in the Superior Court of California, for the County of Orange. She then passed the California State Bar Exam and began her practice in the Los Angeles area working as a litigation attorney.

Ms. Nguyen enjoys raising her daugther, playing the drums, attending live concerts, practicing yoga and indoor cycling, hiking, travelling, and cooking in her spare time.
