Gregory Allen Paiva

Terrible service. Had to run after him to obtain information on my case, he investigated sloppy, had no knowledge of the securitization business and mortgage market, and obtained a modification for my loan that was worse than what the contract initially stated. He was unreliable, never kept me inform...ed and therefore not trustworthy. I would never recommend him to anyone.

Mr. Paiva claimed that he would be handling the loan modification, after determining whether the mortgage company has violated any federal laws. In reality, Paiva served as little more than a front for Loan Safe Solutions, a company that purports to negotiate with mortgage servicers. Paiva did vi...rtually nothing in this case. He left my wife and me to the tender mercies of Loan Safe Solutions, an execrable outfit. Paiva did not respond to e-mails, phone messages, or faxes. We subsequently learned that our communications were actually going to the Loan Safe Solutions facility, where Paiva claimed to have an office. He never even gaves us the phone number for his primary office. We ultimately had to fire Mr. Paiva in order to recover our files. We ended up worse off in our negotiations with the mortgage company than had we done nothing at all. The stress of dealing the Loan Safe Solutions even outweighed the loss of nearly $3000 to Paiva and his "law firm."

I requested the services of Gregory A. Paiva in August of 2008 for a Forensic Loan Audit/Modification. I paid $2,995.00 for unsatisfactory results. Around December 10, 2008 Suzanne Suterman, associate of The Law Offices of Gregory A. Paiva, informed me my loan modification had been approved, per Sa...xon Mortgage. After Suzanne went on leave, I was informed by another associate (12/29/08), that Saxon Mortgage denied my loan modification on December 18, 2008 because of insufficient income. Since 12/29/08, I have despirately tried to talk to someone (Suzanne, Mr. Paiva and Robert) for assistance and feedback regarding my denial. Suzanne who was at some point assigned to my case has not yet returned any of my calls. Mr. Paiva returned my call once, however, has not given any feedback or advice regarding my situation. On January 5th I called Mr. Paiva's office to speak to him and was told by the receptionist that he was in the hospital and Robert Semean would be handling my case
