I am a California attorney and practicing dentist with a unique understanding of the legal, clinical, and business issues involved in owning, operating, purchasing, and selling a dental practice.

My legal practice focuses on representing dentists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in business and transactional matters. I assist clients with dental and medical practice acquisitions and sales, asset purchase agreements, commercial real estate transactions, lease negotiations and assignments, professional corporations, partnership arrangements, associate agreements, employment matters, and other healthcare business contracts.

Because I have owned and operated a dental practice for many years, I understand that a healthcare transaction is not just a legal agreement. It may involve patient care, staffing, insurance participation, credentialing, equipment, billing, leases, financing, regulatory requirements, and the long-term financial future of the healthcare professional. My goal is to identify risks, explain the practical impact of each provision, and help clients move forward with clarity and confidence.

Before becoming an attorney, I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and built my career as a practicing dentist and dental practice owner. I later earned my law degree and became licensed to practice law in California. This combination allows me to approach dental and healthcare transactions from both the legal and operational perspectives.
