You must file a fee application and have it heard before the case is closed. See your local rules for requirements on fee applications.

"Stating your intention" on the bankruptcy papers is virtually meaningless. You need to first do the Motion to Avoid the lien under 11 USC 522(f)....

I have to agree with the prior answer. If this is a valid retirement pension, the correct exemption would be 11 USC 522(b)(3)(C)

Retirement accounts are exempt under a completely separate provision (11 USC 522(b)(3)(C).
