Maria Akopyan, Esq., is the founder of Sapphire Legal Solutions, APC, where she specializes in marital agreements and uncontested divorces. With a background in both law and psychology, Maria brings a compassionate, holistic approach to family law, ensuring her clients feel supported through each step of their legal journey.

Maria graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy. She then received her Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School and completed a year of training in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant International University. Additionally, she is a certified divorce coach, providing unique insights into the legal and emotional aspects of family transitions.

Before founding Sapphire Legal Solutions, APC, Maria gained extensive experience handling complex family law matters both as a Certified Law Student and in various family law firms. Her ability to combine legal expertise with a deep understanding of emotional and psychological dynamics makes her a trusted guide for clients navigating prenuptial agreements, divorce mediation, and other family law issues.
