Patience, Understanding & Professinalism

I rarely write any reviews, especially for an attorney. However, I was very impressed by Attorney Richard Levine. I have been working for the City of Los Angeles for almost 20years. Approximately 13 years ago I got arrested for a DUI. I had a No Drinking Contract offered for 2 yrs in return my penalt...y would be lessen. I was young and accepted it believing it was for 2 years only, I also had a different attorney who oversaw this agreement. I completed the 2 years with no problems. Seven years later my work began to inform me that the Contract was for the duration of my employment with the city. I went to 4 different attorneys my Union had advise me to talkt to. Some were not willing to challenge the Contract and others did not care to listen to what I had believed the agreement to be. I was about to give up and except the fact that I had been tricked into this Contract. I managed to convince one last time my Union to refer me to a different attorney, in which they did, it was Richard Levine. First and foremost he actually took the time to listen to my experience and thoughts, rather than to treat me like a number. Secondly he explained several options and delivered with the tasks. He called the city and also took the time to write a "Masterpiece" of a letter, clearly stating the reason the contract should be terminated and gave them 2 weeks to respond or we were going to take legal action. To my surprise, I received a call from Richard Levine informing me that he had received a phone call from the city stating that the contract was indeed over as of 7 years. I was very happy with Richard Lavine's professionalism and prompt actions in this matter, as other 4 attorneys were not able to follow though in my case. I would DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone who is in need of an honest, hard working professional attorney as Richard Levine.
