Biography
Attorney John D. Sarai is an experienced and well-versed attorney specializing in the fields of bankruptcy, personal injury, consumer protection and debt relief for consumers and businesses.
He has obtained countless dollars in settlements and judgments for personal injury clients involved in car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, premises liability, dog bites, and slip and fall accidents. He also represents clients with claims against government agencies for injuries on public property and on other buses and public transportation, as well as accidents involving ridesharing companies like Uber and Lyft.
John has also discharged millions of dollars through thousands of successful business and consumer bankruptcies. He has helped clients eliminate their debts and save their homes and businesses, all resulting in brand new credit, high credit scores, and bright financial futures.
Additionally, John advocates for clients being harassed by creditors and collection agencies. He has procured hundreds of thousands of dollars for clients against creditors who violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.
John started as an associate at California’s largest consumer bankruptcy firm. Following that, he co-founded and was managing attorney at his own law firm specializing in personal injury law, bankruptcy law, and consumer protection law.
John then moved on to establish Shield Law Group, APLC, which is a modern, technology based and client-focused practice. He brings his large firm skills and experience to a more personal and face-to-face level. John earned his law Degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center with honors, where he also served as President of the Association of Business Law Students. His focus in law school was on bankruptcy, corporate and securities law.
John graduated from California State University Northridge with honors, where he majored in Business Law and Management and minored in Political Science. At CSUN, he received the Business Law Department’s Scholarship for Excellence award and headed CSUN’s Business Student Administration.
John has also been featured for his legal expertise in several news outlets and publications such as NBC 4 Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Daily Journal, and other outlets.
In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his loving wife and three children, being an avid sports fan, and coaching youth basketball.

Can not thank him enough
The word bankruptcy and and stress-free are words that do not go together very well, but it is a lot less of a hassle with a lawyer such as John Sarai. Not once will he make you feel uncomfortable, he knows that this is a serious, delicate, and stressful endeavor. Being able to get a hold of you...

The Best, and so easy to work with!
