Ji-In Lee Houck

Ji-In Lee Houck (she/her) is a fierce advocate and trial lawyer for people who have been subjected to discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in the workplace. A former Biglaw lawyer and managing partner of a litigation boutique, Ji-In now practices with her husband, a trusts and estates litigator, as a co-founder and partner of The Houck Firm. Together, Ji-In and Ryan prosecute financial elder abuse claims against wrongdoers who take advantage of vulnerable elders to change their trusts and wills for financial gain.

Ji-In is an active member of the legal community and is often called upon to speak on various topics including employment law, litigation, trial, mediation, ethics, competence, and bias. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (WLALA), as Political Chair of the Women’s Caucus of the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), as Secretary of the Korean Community Lawyers Association (KCLA), and as an Advisory Board Member of Fund Her. Ji-In is also an active member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), having served as Vice-Chair of its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for several years, and the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA). Ji-In is a graduate of the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and earned her law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.
