Chris worked on a case for my son against a school district that had failed to provide adequate supports and accommodations given his learning differences that resulted from a history of seizures. I was nervous about taking action, but I immediately trusted Chris. He guided the process with transpare...ncy that set me at ease and was smart, clear, and strategic and ultimately led us to the desired outcome. We hired Mr. Eisenberg a couple of times, the first was due to the school district our son is in, did not offer the same educational programs as the typical kids were being offered this school year. He managed to get our son a better option for this school year. Times are difficult and some of our ...kids have health issues and making them go to in person learning puts them at higher risk. As too many parents with children on the spectrum discover, there is precious little help available in difficult and strenuous times. That is why I’m wholeheartedly recommending Chris Eisenberg as a talented and compassionate advocate/lawyer in dealing with public school districts, I.E.P.’s and schoo...l support to move an autistic child to a Residential Treatment Center at the school’s expense. (These RTC’s can cost as much as $30,000 per month!) Chris is a deeply compassionate man who has the perfect temperament and knowledge to move through a school district’s bureaucracy and endless red tape. He was a miracle worker for our son who is now, finally, making progress at a boarding school specializing in spectrum disorders. Without Chris’ advice and effective advocacy, I doubt this would have ever been possible. Kindness, compassion, knowledge and skill: he brings these to every phone call and meeting both with the parents and the school administrators. If you are thinking, like so many lawyers, they will break the bank, think again. Chris is reasonable and, throughout our dealings, he never watched the clock nor did things to rack up fees.
