Biography
Raj Wadhwani, a founding shareholder of Wadhwani & Shanfeld, earned his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law and became a Board Certified Bankruptcy Specialist through the American Board of Certification in 2009. Over a 27+ year career he has overseen more than 15,000 consumer and business bankruptcy filings. Raj played a key role in the 1998 pilot of Best Case Bankruptcy software and was the first attorney to e-file a bankruptcy in the Central District of California. He also practices estate planning and is admitted to all California state courts and to federal district courts (admitted since 1997), including the district courts of New York, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana. He enjoys family time with his wife and two sons, playing golf, and following the Los Angeles Lakers.
