Client was charged with drug charges H&S 11377(a) and H&S 11364(a). Initially was approved for diversion, successful completion of which would get charges dismissed. Client did not successfully compl...ete diversion and did not go back to court and a bench warrant was issued. Approximately four (4) years later I was retained to deal with the warrant and the case. I was successful in not only getting the warrant recalled and quashed, but also getting the client re-enrolled in the diversion program over the prosecutors argument and objection. Upon a successful completion of the approximately 3 month program and no new offenses the charges in this case will be dismissed!

Client was charged with 17 total felony and misdemeanor criminal charges including three (3) assault with a deadly weapon charges (all violent, strike offenses), and five (5) felony vandalism offenses.... If convicted of all the charges, would have had exposure of over 30 years prison, 3 strikes, and a lifetime revocation on his driver license among other potential penalties. There were over twenty witnesses.
After working the case diligently I was able to get twelve (12) of the charges dismissed, including dismissing ALL of the felony assault with a deadly weapon charges, strike offenses dismissed, charge that would have resulted in lifetime driver license revocation dismissed, NO time served in Prison OR Jail.

Petitioner got a temporary Domestic Violence Restraining Order against my client and there was a hearing set for a permanent restraining order. After being retained by my client I was successful in i...mpeaching the credibility of the Petitioner and her witnesses. Ultimately the majority of the Petitioner's witnesses benefited our defense. Not only was I successful in getting the Restraining Order completely dismissed with prejudice (ie. Petitioner cannot refile to get a restraining order based on alleged issues that occurred prior to this ruling), our defense was so strong that the Judge awarded attorney fee's, meaning that the Petitioner was ordered to reimburse my client for attorney fees paid.
