Mark Goldman, along with his wife Alanna, is the founder of AdoptHelp, Inc. and AdoptHelp Law Center, and the father of three children. Mark graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Irvine and earned his juris doctorate degree from USC Law School. After law school, Mark was extended a coveted position in one of the oldest and most prestigious law firms in the nation where he represented Fortune 500 clients in complex civil litigation.
Mark is admitted to practice in the California Superior Court, California Court of Appeals, United States District Court for the Eastern, Western, Northern, and Southern Districts of California as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mark has both drafted and played a role in passing California adoption legislation. Likewise, he has played an important role in educating prospective adoptive parents and adoption professionals through his seminar appearances and publications. Mark is a founding member and officer of the American College of Assisted Reproduction and Adoption Lawyers.
Mark has been dedicated to benefiting the lives of children for over a decade. He has served as a court appointed child advocate, received an honors grant for his work at The Alliance for Children’s Rights (where he met his wife Alanna who is also an attorney at AdoptHelp Law Center), has dedicated a portion of his practice to finalizing adoptions for indigent clients and has worked as a staff counselor for abused and neglected children. Mark’s passion for children did not coincide with his legal career until he was asked to represent indigent adoptive parents as part of an adoption project sponsored by a local charitable organization. It was after that experience that the idea for creating AdoptHelp Law Center was born.
Mark’s passion for giving his clients the gift of parenthood and giving children the gift of family can be seen in every aspect of his practice. A perfectionist who insists that his clients are able to contact him 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, he believes not only in procuring the quickest and safest adoption possible, but doing so in a manner that leaves no question unanswered and no client feeling unprotected. Adamant that AdoptHelp, Inc. and AdoptHelp Law Center aim to be the highest achievement in adoptions, Mark has hand picked a select group of attorneys and staff, each with their own specialties, that enable him to provide exemplary service and expertise to his clients.
