I was going to write an elaborate review but honestly, the one thing that I think about when I think about Wadhwani & Shanfeld is just how awesome they are, both on the individual and firm level. I submitted a request for information regarding bankruptcy and Greg Shanfeld reached out to me via ph...one immediately, probably not even an hour or two after my request was submitted. It wasn’t until I spoke with Greg that, for the first time in years, I felt that there was a way out of my debt. Let’s face it, nobody wants to declare bankruptcy. Realizing that you have to consider bankruptcy as an option sucks, it truly does. Just like any major thing in life, you live and you learn. The greatest thing about speaking to Greg about my situation was that he not only was able to put into words what I was feeling (that I was essentially living to pay the cards), but he also didn’t judge me. Throughout our phone conversation, Greg took the details that I provided him about my specific situation and used them to give me more information about my options and what the entire bankruptcy process would be life. Greg was extremely articulate, answered all of my questions, and simplified the entire bankruptcy process to make sure that I understood what was going to happen next and in the future. Perhaps the greatest thing that I picked up in my initial conversation with Greg is that he truly does want to help. He understands not only the legal aspect of the bankruptcy process, but the emotional one as well. People going through the bankruptcy process are anxious, scared, etc., and Greg gets that. He truly wants to help his clients gain a new slate and that’s exactly what he did for me. From start to finish, my bankruptcy process took 5 months. The fees were extremely reasonable and Greg allows for it to be made in payments (though I’d advise to pay it off ASAP). 5 months for a clean slate and lessons learned, sign me up. Complimenting Greg is his partner and the firm’s staff. When Greg wasn’t available, his partner Raj Wadhwani gladly saw me, answered my questions, and picked up where Greg left off. Jocelyn, the firm’s legal assistant, was amazing in her communication and in answering both misc. and specific questions regarding the bankruptcy process. When my questions were complicated and best explained via phone, she didn’t hesitate to give me a call. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend Wadhwani & Shanfeld to anybody that is looking to go through the bankruptcy process, or even just has questions regarding the process. Their professionalism, knowledge, and empathy is UNMATCHED.

I have filed bankruptcy 3 times now. I know, ridiculous! The first time was a chapter 7 and was done after my husband and I both lost our jobs. It was with an attorney who was “OK”, he got the job done. The second time was a chapter 13 with an attorney who didn’t know what the heck he was doing so it... got dismissed. And the third time, this time was with the most incredible attorney on the face of this planet... Greg Shanfeld. I needed to file a 13 because I was looking to strip my 2nd mortgage. The chances of the judge ruling in my favor was slim because the value of my home was climbing. Greg is confident, knowledgeable, caring and super efficient. My case was tough, not only was my value throwing a wrench into the BK, my income was also challenging. I’d also like to point out that many other attorneys I spoke to were so negative. Greg’s positive attitude was a breathe of fresh air that filled me with new found hope. I am beyond grateful to Greg for his expertise and kind attitude. We just found out a few weeks ago that the judge ruled in our favor to strip the lien. Of course he did!!! We have the best attorney representing us!!!!
