Lost our file

My mother set up a living trust with Fuller and Fuller 22 years ago. When I phoned recently to make some changes to the trust they could not find any record of doing business with my mother. I was appalled. I told them that I had papers in my hand with their signature and their office letterhead, but... apparenly they had lost all records relating to my mother's trust. They were somewhat apologetic but overly so. The Fullers seem like very nice people and I remember my meeting with Jay was very pleasant and he seemed to do an acceptable job at the time. But losing the file and all traces of doing my mother's trust is just awful. Also, with regard to the current questions I had he did not seem up to date on the latest information.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
