Con man and cheat

I would not recommend Andrew Wyatt. Do not hire this man. Andrew Wyatt is a con man and disgrace to the legal profession. The only time he was nice when he wanted me to pay him the huge retainer amount of $8000, he demanded. He made promises that he would work hard on my case, and he is accepting my ...case because it's a strong case. Once I paid the retainer, he showed me his true colors. He made no efforts to work on my case except doing copy paste of the claims. Andrew misrepresented me in the court filings and even supported the opposing party to file sanctions against me based on misinformation his was spreading. Each time I asked Andrew about my case update he would either ignore and/or use unprofessional and disrespectful language to insult me. Andrew is just a petty thief who stole my hard-earned money with no intention of working on my case. Andrew even took bribe from the opposing party/double-dipping to not work on my case and withhold case information from me. This man just steals retainers from his clients and runs. Unfortunately, I didn't see other negative reviews before hiring this man. All the good reviews you see are fake reviews from Andrew's equity partners and friends.

DO NOT USE THIS MAN!!!!!

Run!!! If you ever encounter this attorney. I completely understand why attorney's get a bad name if this guy is still in business! HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY and never work on your case. I am a female that was in desperate need of help. I paid this man to help me with my divorce and he the last bit of... money that I had and did nothing on my case. I cried to him and begged him to work on my case or return my money but he never did. I finally had to borrow money and get a new attorney who worked on my case, settled, and closed my case within a few months. His office staff is terrible and I had to walk in many times to an office that was empty except for boxes of personal cases they had laying around to even find a staff member, Please, Please, Please don't use this guy. He is a disgrace to the law profession and should be ashamed of how he conducts business!

Feeling Victimized Again

I hired Mr Wyatt for a lawsuit against Marshall Reddick and others (in Superior Court). I paid a $3500 retainer. I received ~$4700 in mediation from this case (Mr Wyatt received 40% commission from my settlement). When I asked him for help with my Marshall Reddick Bankruptcy claim, he said he would ...have to charge me because it would involve court time. I declined and instead proceeded on my own without his assistance. I did not pay a retainer fee to him for the Marshall Reddick BK case; I did not hire him. I am receiving approximately a $50,000 settlement in BK court, and now Mr Wyatt wants me to pay him a percentage of my BK claim. He is claiming he is my attorney and filed an attorney lien request in BK court twice, claiming he is entitled to a percentage of my damages claim (and others). I am filing a complaint against Mr Wyatt with the State Bar because I am Feeling Victimized by him. Those that have posted positive reviews here are probably (though I cannot prove it) his equity partners that received a settlement in a separate lawsuit.

Do NOT hire this lawyer...you will be sorry!!

I, and others, hired Andrew Wyatt to represent us in a real estate case against the Marshall Reddick Co. Mr. Wyatt said the case was very winnable and in fact told me that this was the second case he was bringing against Marshall Reddick. He said that our case would follow behind his first case. ...He never told us that he was a plaintiff in the first case, and that it included equity partners of his. Right after he took our money, he stopped communicating with us. The only time we would ever get an update from him, is when someone in our group would send out a forcefull email to Andrew, and the others, telling Andrew that they were going to contact the BAR if he didn't give us an update. After a couple years, our case gets thrown out of court (and we are then told by Andrew that we would have to refile the case in Florida and hire a new attourney...and pay more fees ). A short time later we found out that he won his first case (the one that he told us was identical to ours AND the one that he and his equity partners were plaintiffs in). Later that year, Andrew sends us an email that states that he could now represent us in the bankruptcy case against Marshall Reddick ( we all knew about this case, as we were contacted directly by the trustee in that case already). He said that if we wanted him to represent us in this new case, we would have to sign a new contract with him and pay him a new retainer fee. I am told that no one in our group signed this new contract to hire him (because he did a horrible job on our original case). Now today, many years later, we are supposed to finally get some cash settlementfrom this bankruptcy case, and Andrew ha petitioned the court to have the checks made out with his name on them (along with the individual plaintiff), so that he can get a cut of the winnings. Again, no one hired him to represent them in this case. He had already lost our orginal case and kept all of the money we paid him for that case. I would never hire him again and advise anyone else to do some serious homework if they are even thinking of doing so. I am sure that the good reviews you see on this website for him are from his equity partners in his other case that he won for them (and himself).

Andrew fought for me

Andrew M. Wyatt represented me in my claim against Marshall Reddick Realty in Bankruptcy Court. I turned in my proof of claim, however, two years later the court did not acknowledge receipt and rejected my claim without notifying me. Mr. Wyatt noticed that my name was omitted from the list of appro...ved claimants and contacted me. He had to make numerous appearances and vigorously argued my case, eventually getting to the court to admit that they had made an error. He got my claim successfully reinstated. Mr. Wyatt even followed up with me later to advise me of the deadline to send a W-9 to the court. The court had again failed to send me the notice and my claim would be rejected again. I am now awaiting a substantial check due to Mr. Wyatt's perseverance.
