Thomas is Eagle Scout and is active in Boy Scouts with 28 years of service. He also a merit badge counselor for both aviation and law.
After high school Thomas pursued his passion for aviation and attended Embry-Riddle Aviation University in Prescott AZ. During this time Thomas earned numerous flight ratings all of the way through to his Single engine and Multi-engine Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. Using his experience he became a professional pilot and has flown numerous aircraft for freight, airline, and corporate operations over the years. During this time he also earned the sign off to take the FAA’s airframe and powerplant mechanics certificate. To this day he still flies his Cessna 340 for work and family vacations.
