Are taxes forgiven for Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure, the same as they are for foreclosure, per the mortgage forgiveness act?

I filed chapter 7 bankrupsy in 2011, it included my home in the bankrupsy, everything was discharged on Dec. 11,2011.
