Business Bio

Julie founded the Stankowski Law Group with a mission to provide stellar big-firm representation, plus compassion, minus the price-tag.  Our local boutique firm is not only affordable, but entirely more personal.  We combine legal tenacity with authentic, caring service.  From start to finish, our office treats each client like family.  We make ourselves available and invite communication.  We answer our phones and quickly return messages and emails.  We understand that family law is emotionally challenging and we are here as seasoned legal advocates and a shoulder, if you will.  New clients typically come to our office feeling overwhelmed, helpless and out-of-control.  They leave our office feeling relieved, protected and confident they are in good hands.  We proactively guide each client through the nuances of divorce while tailoring the navigation to the unique circumstances of the case, always with the goal of achieving the most cost-effective and time-efficient resolution.  In addition to divorce, we handle all aspects of family law, including adoption.  Serving Los Angeles, Ventura and Orange Counties.

Personal Bio

Julie is a gregarious, married mom of two living in Westlake Village.  She was a child actress and appeared in numerous commercials, television shows and films.  An avid tennis player, Julie and her dad won the father-daughter tennis championship at the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadow, NY.  Julie is a native New Yorker whose family moved to California when she was young.  After graduating from Calabasas High School, Julie earned her Bachelor’s degree from CSUN and her Juris Doctor from Southwestern University in 1994.  She clerked for a Justice on the California Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and worked for a large New York based law firm in downtown Los Angeles.  Julie is also a published author, having written for several magazines and blogs.
