Anita Gumm

In July 2015 Anita Gumm took on my divorce and settlement matter, which had previously been worked on by two other firms, neither of which made much progress on it but had happily overcharged for their services nonetheless. In doing so, she stepped into a contentious fight against a well-known Los A...ngeles law firm that has served Britney Spears and David Hasselhoff. She handled them, their various attempts to bully her, and my case calmly, cleanly and effectively, always standing her ground but never stooping to their tactics. No matter how busy her court schedule, she made time for my phone calls and emails. I came to greatly value her advice. I am now a free woman because of her. She cannot be recommended highly enough.

The attorney and her staff were rude every time we interacted over the phone and the opening line of all (3) phone calls would be, "I have limited time". Nevertheless, they will bill you as if they provided you with a competent and full service. They don't! The client (me) interests and priorities s...eem to be of no concern to anyone in this firm but specially to Anita Gumm who seem to take cases solely for the income and not to defend her clients. Point being, I had to do the reading, and analysis of, documents sent from the opposition and then tell this "lawyer" what I thought was against my best interest- that's their work, to fight for you- BE WARE this firm and lawyer won't do that for you. Finally, she (Anita Gumm) will allow her friendship with other attorneys (opposition) supersede her clients interests. Absolutely unethical practice. Stay away from this firm and lawyer.
