Hopefully you can get your license before you go to court. If not, ask for an extension so you can get your license.

Get it signed off and take to the clerk of the court along with a check for $25.00

This is called a hardship release. He needs an attorney to get his matter back on calendar in front of the sentencing judge.

You can certainly fight this citation- but doubtful if you will win. Hopefully officer will not show at the trial.

It is possible- but I doubt it. The DMV wants you to get your license. You were lucky not to have been cited for speed.

Bring the signed off ticket to the court clerk. You may get away with only having to pay a $25.00 fee.
