Yes, it is a misdemeanor. Why is your license suspended? That has to be dealt with first. Get an attorney to deal with this.

Get an attorney to file a Serna motion on the 1st ticket- or just enter a plea of not guilty and hope that the officer does not show.

Get the car registered and have the plates put on. Get copies of the citations have them signed off. Bring all paperwork to court.

File the Release of Liability with the DMV now- stating the exact date you sold the car. Bring it in person and get a stamped copy
