Under the circumstances of your matter you do not have to contact DMV . The police left you with your license. You do need an attorney to deal with...

For this situation you need an attorney. A public defender will be appointed.

Civil assessment - $300 -probably , unless you get a sympathetic judge.

You can if you get your matter on calendar and request the judge to allow traffic school.
