Ronald Keith Stitch

With more than 30 years of experience in various areas of family law, including high-income divorce, custody and visitation issues, child support, and mediation and collaborative law, Ronald K. Stitch is the founder of the Law Offices of Ronald K. Stitch, located in Westlake Village, California. Certified as a specialist in family law by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California, he represents clients throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from Pepperdine University in 1975, Mr. Stitch attended Claremont Graduate University and earned his Master of Arts in zoning and land use in 1976. He then went to Golden Gate University School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1979. After opening his office in 1981, Mr. Stitch practiced general civil litigation before turning his focus to family law. He is admitted to practice in California.

The mediation training that Mr. Stitch received from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law as well as the advocacy training from University of California Hastings College of the Law has enabled him to offer mediation services as an alternative dispute resolution option to the litigation process in family law disputes. He encourages clients to opt for this alternative during amicable or low-asset divorce cases that do not involve complex custody issues, and has successfully resolved many matters in such a fashion. Mr. Stitch continues to refine his methods through his membership in the Association for Conflict Resolution and stays abreast of current developments in his practice area through his membership in the Ventura County Bar Association and his active participation in the Family Law Sections of both the State Bar of California and the American Bar Association.
