Debra Jean Kay

Attorney Debra J. Kay received her Bachelor of Sciences degree cum laude in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a member of the Tau Beta Pi Honor Society. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, where she received American Jurisprudence Awards in Evidence and Criminal Procedure, was an Associate Editor of the Law Review, was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society, and was on the Dean’s List. Ms. Kay was admitted to both the State Bar of California and to the United States District Court Central District of California in 1986. In addition, Attorney Kay is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Ventura County Bar Association, the East County Bar Association, and the Ventura County Family Law Bar Association.

Ms. Kay has been a Certified Specialist in family law since 1993, and has been practicing in courts throughout Ventura and Los Angeles counties since 1987.
