David Esquibias

David A. Esquibias is a California attorney certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. He helps clients with estate planning, trust administration, probate matters, and trust and estate disputes, including will contests, trust contests, trustee and executor removal, conservatorships, fiduciary accountings, and beneficiary rights.

Clients often turn to Mr. Esquibias when family, fiduciary, or inheritance issues have become legally and emotionally difficult. His practice is focused on helping individuals and families protect their rights, preserve assets, and resolve complex trust and probate matters with clarity and precision. In addition to dispute resolution, he also advises clients on estate planning, federal estate and gift tax issues, and Medi-Cal planning.

Mr. Esquibias brings a strong academic and tax background to his practice. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Irvine, his law degree from Vermont Law School, and his Master’s in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law. He is a frequent lecturer at the United States Naval Base, Ventura County, where he has spoken on estate planning, estate and gift taxation, and Medi-Cal planning.

He has also served in a number of professional and community leadership roles, including service with the Ventura County Bar Association’s Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Section, the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, California State University, Channel Islands, and several nonprofit boards. His practice reflects a long-standing commitment to trust, probate, and estate matters in California.
