Samantha Margherita Essayan

Samantha M. Essayan, Partner, received her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School in 2018. Prior to attending Southwestern, she earned an Associates of Arts in Psychology from College of the Canyons and her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of California Los Angeles.

Ms. Essayan is driven and dedicated to finding solutions which work for all parties and strives to help clients through the most difficult time in their lives. She has represented a diverse range of clients, from stay-at-home parents to county and government employees, business owners, entrepreneurs, and high-profile entertainers. Ms. Essayan collaborates with her clients to identify their concerns and develop results based strategies. Samantha previously worked at Reape-Rickett & Breddan as a former Law Clerk and Bookkeeper’s Assistant, providing her with a holistic understanding of the impact of family law matters.

While studying at Southwestern, Ms. Essayan focused on both family law and entertainment law, working on a variety of family law cases such as Dissolutions, Domestic Violence Restraining Orders, Temporary Restraining Orders, Post-Judgment, and Child Custody. She has also worked on various network television production projects including, legal services for “micro-budget” films, and services for the financial assurances department of the Screen Actors Guild. Ms. Essayan previously served as an Associate Professor of Law at Irvine College of Law. She has instructed family law courses and looks forward to challenging and developing our next generation of legal minds.
