Nancy Martinez

Nancy Martinez, received her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School in May 2019. Before attending Southwestern, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology Based Human Relations and Hispanic Studies from Connecticut College. Ms. Martinez joined the firm in 2019 as a Law Clerk and upon passing the California Bar in 2020, transitioned to Associate Attorney.

Ms. Martinez has always had a passion for family law and children’s rights. While studying at Southwestern, she worked at an Early Head Start Program and externed at several family law firms, including non-profit organizations LevittQuinn Family Law Center, and the Harriett Buhai Center for Family. As an extern, Ms. Martinez assisted clients throughout their family law matters with issues including but not limited to dissolution, child custody, paternity, and domestic violence. She also worked closely with staff attorneys to develop case strategies and, under attorney supervision, provided limited-scope counsel and advice. Furthermore, Ms. Martinez served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Mark A. Juhas and gained insight on a judge’s role in ruling on family law cases. In late 2019, Ms. Martinez joined the LevittQuinn Family Law Center’s Leadership Council to develop programs and partnerships to connect organizations and resources with communities in need.

After witnessing her parents’ court battle, Ms. Martinez is sympathetic to the circumstances faced by The Reape-Rickett Law Firm’s clients. She remains dedicated to protecting children’s rights and is committed to helping clients navigate challenging situations as seamlessly as possible.
