Lloyd J Lee

Lloyd J. Lee, Esq. is a California attorney admitted to the State Bar of California on June 1, 2011 (Bar #276453). As corporate counsel, he advised many startups, businesses, corporations, and entrepreneurs on all kinds of legal issues, serving as outside corporate counsel to clients including the founders and top executives of a $100M esports media company, helping founders prepare Private Placement Memorandums (PPMs) and raise capital for their companies, and reviewing and negotiating contracts, partnership agreements, deals, and purchase and sale agreements.

As an employment litigator, he recovered millions of dollars for employees who were wrongfully terminated, including whistleblowers and employees discriminated against for having a disability or medical condition, taking on high-stakes litigation against top law firms and successfully resolving cases for his clients. He also represented a plaintiff in a trade secret misappropriation case, achieving a favorable outcome.

Before founding his practice, Mr. Lee served as a judicial law clerk to a United States Federal Judge after earning his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law (2008). Before law school, he worked in forensic accounting and as an Equity Research Assistant at a San Francisco boutique Wall Street firm, after earning his B.A. in Economics and Psychology, with a minor in Communications, from UC Davis (2001).

In 2016, he served as President of the Korean American Bar Association of Southern California (KABA SoCal), accepting the State Bar of California President's Award for Distinguished Pro Bono Service, and he was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star (2017, 2019-2021). He lives in Manhattan Beach with his family.
