Jay Romy Tioleco

I have a plethora of diverse experience in the legal field and a passion to help people of all walks of life. My legal career has brought me to California, Missouri and Asia. In California, I honed my craft working in the fields of immigration law, employment law, business compliance, and other areas of law. In Missouri, I worked for a non-profit, where I handled various issues including immigration and estate planning. I also conducted administrative child support hearings for the state of Missouri. During law school in Kansas City, Missouri, I gained valuable experience working with the United States Federal government, for a judge at the Missouri Court of Appeals and for various non-profits. While in Asia, I dealt with complex commercial and international trade and business law problems, dealing with large corporations, international organizations and foreign governments. My familiarity with the different areas of the law brings a unique and useful perspective to my clients. The diversity in my legal career has given me the ability to adapt to any situation. I received his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania. I am admitted to practice in California and Missouri. My interest in diversity extends to my personal life. I have a passion to explore the world and have embarked on various international voyages from Brazil to Costa Rica to Greece to Vietnam. Also, I lived in England, Portugal, China and the Philippines. When I am not globetrotting, I enjoys doing outdoor activities such as hiking and snorkeling and indoor activities such as concerts (anything from classical to rock), movies, and comedy clubs. Family and volunteer work are also very important to me.
