Louis Pacella

I could not be more pleased with choosing Louis Pacella for my Living Trust. Included in the flat fee, which was right on par with any other lawyer I consulted, was: HIPPA form, Health Care Directive, Power of Attorney (in case I become incapacitated), a Will (for me it serves only as an “in case” s...upporting doc), and all the Grant Deed and Assignment of Property etc forms that are required when adding your residence to the Trust. Also included in the fee was Louis’ office filing the required Deed transfer documents with the County. For me, the benefit of Louis’ office doing this is having the added protection of validity in action should the County screw up. Before hiring Mr. Pacella, I “price shopped” and even considered “do it yourself” options by buying the forms. In the end, the “savings” was meager and not worth the risk of error. The piece of mind one gets from a knowledgeable professional, that keeps up to date with changing laws, is invaluable. After consulting with a handful of attorneys, I found Mr. Pacella (and his paralegal) to have the patience and expertise that I desired. He allowed me to customize sections, even though it wasn’t necessary but merely an appeasement of my ideals and never once made me feel as if I was taking advantage of his time. There was NO charge for the handful of phone calls and emails that were accommodated during the process. The entire experience was a pleasure and completed without stress or the anxiety I felt going into this endeavor. The “Estate Planning Portfolio” he had delivered to me in the end was extremely well organized and comprehensive with added benefit of brief explanation/instruction per section for my (eventual) Trustee. It also included digital copies of all signed documents which easily allows me to provide family with their own digital copies for added safekeeping in a different location other than my home, which is where the originals will remain. I took the time to review here, as well as other common “go-tos” because I know how important and stressful this decision is in addition to the financial expense that gives people pause. I wanted others to benefit from my experience so that we can all feel confident protecting ourselves and our estates. If you are procrastinating or fearful, I hope you find confidence in moving forward and I do believe you will have just as wonderful of an outcome with Mr. Pacella as I have.

The recommendation proved to be a blessing as Louis immediately became involved and 'walked' us through a complicated process made wor...se by a family member. Louis is knowledgeable, conscientious, responsive, easy to communicate with and very supportive. In addition, I felt we could trust him throughout the process with our affairs while confident that his fees were reasonable and we were charged in a fair manner. (I am sure he threw in a few phone calls and advice along the way). It has been a pleasure working with Louis and I am now planning to collaborate with him for my own estate planning. Would I recommend Louis? Absolutely!!!!!
