Prior to joining forces with his father in 2003 to form Schwartz& Schwartz, Kevin was a litigation associate at the Los Angelesoffice of Reed Smith, one of the 15 largest law firms in the world with more than 1,500lawyers throughout the United States, Europe and the Middle East. Whilethere, Kevin focused his practice on complex pharmaceutical, medicaldevice and commercial litigation, including business disputes relatedto trade secrets and unfair competition.
Kevin earned his law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where he served as Production Editor of the Entertainment Law Review. Kevin also received the American Jurisprudence Award, achieving first-in-class honors (Legal Writing).
Before law school, Kevin completed his undergraduate work at the
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and – of course – continues to be a ‘die-hard’ Bruin fan.
When he’s not working, Kevin enjoys spending time doing just aboutanything with his wife and children. He also continues trying (invain?) to improve his remarkably average golf game, hoping one day tobeat his law partner in an honest round of eighteen holes.

Broke an irrevocable trust!
I was impressed by Kevin Schwartz from the first phone call. He clearly had experience with elder abuse. He gave us an honest assessment and the settlement went pretty close to his initial thoughts. He was easy to reach and returned phone calls promptly. My only regret was that we didn't find him...

"I would have no hesitation referring a potential client to Kevin based on our work together. Kevin is patient, sharp, and laser-focused on his client's goals."
"I endorse Kevin Schwartz’s work wholeheartedly. I have referred several clients with elder abuse litigation matters to his firm. Without exception they were all given wise counsel. In one particular case Mr. Schwartz worked carefully with extremely contentious family members to reach an agreed settlement with the other family member who had taken serious advantage of their parents. He was ready and able to take the matter to court but had the skills necessary to negotiate a settlement. I know my clients appreciate this. I consider Schwartz & Schwartz a valuable resource that I access for clients when appropriate."
