The senior attorney in our firm, Gary Walch, has been a licensed attorney in California since 1975, and is President of the Law Offices of Gary K. Walch, A Law Corporation, and has successfully handled thousands of serious injury claims for over thirty (30) years throughout the United States. Mr. Walch is licensed by the California State Bar to practice law in all of the State Courts in California, as well as the United States Federal District Court and Federal Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit.

He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He graduated UCLA in 1972, Summa cum laude (with highest honors), with a major in Political Science and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society.

He also served as President of the UCLA Political Science Honor Society, member of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee (one of only two student members serving with the faculty members) and Dean’s Honor List. Member of Zeta Beta Tau-Phi Sigma Delta national fraternity. Active in athletics, including UCLA Interfraternity Handball Singles and Doubles Champion.

Mr. Walch graduated from the UCLA School of Law in 1975 and in the same year was admitted to practice law in California.

He is a member of the California State Bar, has served for many years as a Temporary Judge in the Los Angeles Superior Courts (including West Los Angeles, Van Nuys and Chatsworth Superior Courts), Arbitrator Los Angeles Superior Court and also with the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and has been a member of both the Consumer Attorneys of California and Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles (formerly Los Angeles and California Trial Lawyers Associations). He also served as Chairperson of the Civil Litigation-Tort Section of the Westwood Bar Association.

Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked with the United States Postal Service, State Department/Peace Corps, Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Enforcement Division.

Mr. Walch is a licensed California Real Estate Broker. He served as President of the Board of Directors of his children’s school and Homeowners Association and on the Advisory Board of two local paralegal colleges. He volunteers much time and participates in many charitable organizations. He also is an Eagle Scout (Boy Scouts of America) and for many years coached Little League Baseball, soccer and basketball. His wife is a middle school math teacher and they have two children. His son, Robert Walch, is an attorney who practices law with him and his daughter is a teacher.
