For over thirty years I have represented individuals and small businesses in a wide variety of matters, including real estate, business transactions, contracts, civil rights, family law, elder abuse, and  employment, most of which included litigation to some extent, and most of which I resolved without the expense of going all the way to and through trial. I believe that to settle a case one has to be willing and able to go all the way to trial on it, and the opposing side has to know it.  My goal is always to get the best possible result for my clients with the least possible expense. In fact I pride myself on the effectiveness of my pre-litigation and settlement demand letters where I let the opposing side know my evaluation of a case, and all the parameters of what will happen if we are unable to reach a resolution.

I have always been a solo practitioner who handles all aspects of my cases, with a focus on delivering the best quality and most strategic legal representation possible. I am known for my candor with both my clients and opposing counsel. You can expect and will receive absolute candor when you consult on any matter, and i will provide the first 15 minutes of consultation by phone without charge. I am happy to provide legal consultation and advice, or second opinions, on any matter in which I have experience, sort of the way the old time country lawyers did.
