Mark Addison O'Brien

I was contacted by Mr. O'Brien after inquiring to the Ruttenberg Law Firm, PC about a real estate/contract issue. Mr. O'Brien and I traded several e-mails and phone calls where I laid out the scenario and issues. He then presented me with legal courses of action along with their pros and cons. ...I was advised I could stay in the contract and see how it plays out, take my knowledge and write a letter asking to void the contract, or to have him draft a letter with more legal teeth asking for the same. In the end, I chose to stay in the contract I had entered, despite the red flags I had encountered. While Mr. O'Brien felt there was a strong chance a legally drafted document could achieve the desired results, he also said the other party could react negatively and I could incur more costs. In the end, the potential time and money I could lose did not offset the fight that I may have been in for. If things go sideways, I will certainly call Mr. O'Brien again for his services. I highly recommend him.
